For Sale: Ad Space on Tom Brady's Chest?

If you all didn't know, America is in a bit of a financial crisis...to quote Seth Rogan "I'm not poor, I just eat a lot of pasta." During these tough times no one is exempt, not even the NFL.

Despite being the second most popular sport in America right now, the NFL is still looking for any opportunities to increase revenue. With Commissioner Roger Goodell taking a $6 million annual pay cut, he has lead the league to making a decision to place advertisements on NFL practice jerseys. This choice left me torn in my opinion, on one side it is a smart financial move, however there is so much to risk with the purity of what some may consider the TRUE American pastime.

I decided that I'm fine with the practice jerseys, but this needs to end there. While revenues would be nice in the season, my inner football historian outways my business man in thinking ads on game jerseys could really deteriorate the rich history of the NFL.
