Fresh Espresso - "Glamour"

I just got my hands on a copy of Glamour from Seattle duo Fresh Espresso (emcee Rik Rude and emcee/producer P Smoov). A few minutes into this album I felt as though I had stolen a CD from George Jetson. P Smoov's beats make you want to jump up and rage like your at an outer space frat party and the duo's lyrics display the party life of a rockstar as well as addressing more serious topics. The album contains "Lazerbeams" which is quickly becoming a Seattle favorite as well as my favorite "Diamond Pistols", described by Rude as the "kick drum anthem". The 14 song debut album is laced from beginning to end with potential hits.

While Fresh Espresso may be labeled "ghetto tech" there really is no category in which to place the group other than "good music". Whether your stuck in the car or tryin to make your party look like Animal House turn on Glamour and you won't be disappointed.
