Town Business

Been listenin to this Fresh Espresso album for the last couple days (see review below) and it's makin me want more good NW hip hop. This year has already been blessed with projects by Grynch, Rockwell Powers and Fresh Espresso. With that in mind, here are some of the projects I'm most lookin forward to.



Macklemore & Ryan Lewis - I've played the shit out of Language of My World over the last two years and am ready for another classic from (in my opinion) the top artist in Seattle.


Blue Scholars "OOF EP" - Another one of Seattle's heavyweights blessin us with some new music.


EvergreenOne & Todd Sykes - Don't sleep on the Tacoma music scene, its strong and a lot of that has to do with EvergreenOne. Dude can rock a set and I'm lookin forward to havin some recorded music. Heard some of the stuff at Urban Arts Festival and its crazy.


Fice - Another Tacoma dude who can really bring it, an album is long overdue but shit should be classic.


Spaceman - Been hearin for a long time that this dude is "Superstar material", hadn't heard a whole lot but saw him in Tacoma earlier this spring and really buyin into the buzz, lookin for some work to bump in the stereo.


This is just a short list of local shit, I'm sure I forgot a lot, but it should be a good rest of the year for the NW.
